Summary

The neurologist explains that Lyme disease and possible co-infections, such as Borrelia burgdorferi and Bartonella, may delay her recovery. The physician also discusses the possibility of Epstein-Barr virus reactivation, which can lead to chronic fatigue syndrome.
The patient becomes overwhelmed by the medical information. The interpreter respectfully asks the neurologist to use simpler language, and although the physician briefly does so, they later return to more technical terminology.
